寻找

find 注重结果，强调找到了什么东西。

look for 注重寻找的过程。 比如我正寻找笔呢

search更侧重“搜寻、搜索”的意思，范围较广，一般可用search for sth.或in the search of sth. ;

find out有“找出”的意思，更经常表示“发现、调查。”，后面也是直接跟名词或find sth. out（当sth.不是人称代词的时候）。

hunt for 搜索；探求（很多时候用于猎头，关于工作方面的）
